Who we are
The Keene YMCA Dolphins(KYD) is an age-group swim team operating in Keene, New Hampshire. This YMCA/USA Swimming team has been competing at the state, regional, and national level for more than 60 years. The 2026-27 team roster consists of 60 swimmers. This year we'll compete in about 20 meets over the course of both the Winter and Spring/Summer seasons.
Mission
Sport is one of the many elements contributing to human development. The Dolphins Swim Team strives to develop each individual to their maximum potential as a swimming athlete.
Vision
The Dolphins Swim Team trains athletes between the ages of 6 and 18 from the greater Keene, New Hampshire area to become competitive swimmers. Our training philosophy is built upon the YMCA's 4 Core Values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
Staying in touch
All swim team communications are broadcast through this website and the team's email and app alerts. Swimmer availability for swim meets, the organization of team functions, and critical alerts (11th hour cancellations) are all managed there. Involvement with this organization requires a consistent investment of your time and attention. You are responsible for staying current with daily swim team activities.
